What many people don't know is 4EFFL has been around for a long time, on this page we're going to talk about where we've came from in terms of football simulators used including some memorable highlights of things

Brief History
When we first started it was thanks to the people behind Sports Mogul.. Yes we started with Football Mogul, it's a great simulator and we stuck with things for a number of years, we later changed from that to a little known football simulator called UFL which I don't remember how we stumbled upon it but I'm glad we did. We stuck with that for a number of years as well, actually I think we stuck with that longer than we did with Football Mogul. But on our journey of football sims we now are running on Pro Football Sim thanks to Barcode Games.

Highlights
Football Mogul - the most talked about moment for football mogul was done by Teddie Arnold, who has been around since the start and who is the owner of the Turtles. Teddie was always a big sports guy, including playing games like Madden, but the one thing that was tough for Teddie to grasp was finances as he was always out doing his bidding in trying to get some of the top talent of the league and for the most part it worked and he would go on to always remain one of the top teams in the league while doing so. Although sadly the off-season is what killed him as when it came time to balance finances he was always massively in-debt. We never cared about the finances in games as we found it too distracting to playing the game and running the league so we just let Teddie play without question.

UFL - the most talked about moment for UFL was done by the team Ice Birds who is owned by Mafia Bird, who also was around since the start of everything. I remember this moment was more so a back to back moments I know it was very early in our UFL life. However it certainly stands out, I don't remember what season exactly but in this particular season the Ice Birds didn't win a single game, things were close and they had a good team but they just couldn't pull out a win for one reason or another. So the entire season they went win-less. I don't know what they did in the off-season but the following season they went undefeated and even went to the 4EFFL Bowl to capture the championship. Since those moments we knew that anything was possible in that simulator.

Pro Football Simulator - at this point in time we don't have a most talked about moment that stands out, I think the coolest thing though is having the chance to have 70 teams in one league like we currently do.

Conclusion
There are many great football simulators out there, who knows where the future will take us, I speak highly on all of that I've tried and would recommend each for different reasons. My suggestion is to try them all out and see what you like best... If it came down to it that Barcode Games closed up tomorrow I would have no issues going back to UFL its an amazing simulator and has always been free.
